Keeping Your Back To School Kids Safe With MasterLock

The best advice I can offer to students and parents for locking up a safe and happy school year is to lay out rules before the student enters school so that you are able to rest assured they are safe. I would give each of my children their own house key, kept in a inconspicuous container. Just in case, I would also have a key to the house hidden in a secret area outside that only my family members know about. In this day and age, cell phone use is rampant, and I would definitely utilize that trend and have a cell phone available for all children old enough to keep up with it and use it. For children that are too young to use cell phones, I would repeatedly state, very clearly, safety rules like “don’t talk to strangers”, “always stay with the person I left you with”, etc. We would also have a strict family rule that you must always answer your phone when other family members are calling.

Every loving parent knows it’s their job to keep their kids safe, and back-to-school time can create a lot of panic and anxiety. Luckily, there are companies out there like MasterLock, that realize our concern and are there to help. One item in particular I found to be very helpful for keeping your student safe is the dialSpeed(TM) Electronic Padlock. This handy little item allows your student to store multiple set-your-own primary and guest codes. The lock is additionally preprogrammed with a unique permenent Backup Master Code that users can retrieve from masterlockvault.com. This helps to ensure they never lose their combination again!
