I realize the importance of reading to my children, and I try to read to my sons at least every night before bedtime. I was given the opportunity to check out a children’s book called Howard B. Wigglebottom Listens To His Heart from the We Do Listen Foundation, and you better believe I was interested! The We Do Listen Foundation has also offered to give one of my lucky readers their very own book from the Howard B. Wigglebottom series. Read on to find out more!!

The We Do Listen Foundation is a non-profit corporation that aims to help children learn how to listen, improve their self-esteem, and learn how to deal with bullying and violence. One of the ways in which they do this is through their Howard B. Wigglebottom book series. These entertaining, educational books enable children to enjoy inner peace and communicate in a more effective way. The We Do Listen Foundation is made up of a group of writers, artists, designers, educators, therapists, parents, and teacher that share a vision of a kinder world with more peace and harmony and a better life for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the most precious moments of my lifetime have been spent reading to my children. I adore how my oldest crawls into my lap and listens intently. It makes me smile to have to play keep-away from my youngest son, as he always wants a hands-on experience during storytime. My sons both enjoy to being read to, and Howard B. Wigglebottom Listens To His Heart was no exception. I appreciated the message this book sent to my children, and I felt my oldest son could relate to Howard: they both love to dance! I thought the illustrations in this book were magnificent, perfectly playful and colorful enough to keep the attention of a child. The story itself is well-written, and is neither too short or too long. This book is now one of our favorite stories for bedtime, and I look forward to reading it to them for many more years to come.

I am impressed with The We Do Listen Foundation’s book, Howard B. Wigglebottom Listens To His Heart. I think it would make a wonderful gift for children of all ages. I highly recommend Howard B. Wigglebottom Listens To His Heart to anyone interested in wonderful children’s books.
