Website Help – How To Scroll Items Automatically

I recently saw a blogger friend inquire about how to add scrolling ads to her blog. I tried to find a good tutorial for her, and didn’t find one that I thought was really good, so I wrote my own code to show how to do this. If you’d like to automatically scroll items on your blog, you can use this code to do so:

<div><marquee width=”125″ height=”200″ direction=”up” onmouseover=”this.stop()” onmouseout=”this.start()” loop=”true” scrollamount=”3″> PUT YOUR HTML CODES HERE FOR PICTURES, TEXT, ETC. </marquee></div>

It will look like this:
PUT YOUR HTML CODES HERE FOR PICTURES, TEXT, ETC.

If you’d like to put this in your sidebar, add a Text / HTML Widget to your sidebar and paste the code into it. If you are using Blogger as your blogging platform, just add a Text / HTML Gadget to your sidebar and paste the code into it. Enter whatever information you’d like to display where it says “PUT YOUR HTML CODES HERE FOR PICTURES, TEXT, ETC.”
